hey, i just got your note today...friday was crazy, i was drawing skulls for 3 hours. my anatomy and figure teacher is the same one you had for advanced illustration (i think that was the class at least..the class where you did the Batman Begins poster). she seems ok, but i think i'd go bonkers if i had her for a real AdDesign class.
i'll talk to you soon, and god dammit, we'll figure out a time to get together!

friday i'll be at cod around 8...my class starts at 9 and is supposed to go till 2:45, but since it's the first time the class is meeting, i'm not sure when it'll end. with a class that's nearly 6 hours long, we damn well better have a break! and i should be there till about 5...so if you're around, i'm sure i'll run into you.

Land of the dead looks amazing. As for Frank Miller... I was hoping to Sin City was going to come out before then but it comes out the 20th i think. SO i'm thinking the first book or maybe get The Art of Sin City book and get one of those signed. As for hangin out just gimme a call, even if you cant find anyone else to go with, I dont mind being a last resort.

yeah, the GC newsletter said that all the locations should have tickets at their stores. i think that's the road i'll be taking, dont want to deal with shipping and all that..

i think i might brave the crowd and try my luck at a Frank Miller signing, so when we do our get together, give me what you want signed. ill take it with me to the con, and if i'm able to do the signing, i'll have it signed for you.

i did see Batman...see, when me and Calvin talked the first time around, i hadn't yet. then like the next day my friends decided to go see it, and i went along. we were supposed to go today but then things didn't work out...so if talk to him tonight, tomorrow for seeing Bats should happen...should. but who knows! i'll call you when i have some form of plans. hey, have you seen Romero's new zombie flick? it looks pretty crazy. we'll find something to do, i'll make sure of it.

Awesome. I emailed a rep that deals with sales of the show asking him about getting a ticket for thursday and still havent heard back. Maybe I'll goto graham crackers and ask around. As for things to ask you to pick up at the show.... dont have any, I would have liked to get Frank Millers autograph on one of my Sin City Books (only 3 more to read), and thats probably alittle too much to ask of you.... I'm almost positive I'll meet Alex Ross at some point in the next four years so I dont have to worry about that. But Thanks.
As for us getting together and hanging out. Anytime is good for me (as of now) and you aren't boring, if you were, I probably would have gotten even more work done IN CLASS the past two quarters. I'm just as boring if not more. And dont worry about it, theres nothing wrong with xmen cartoons, and well, as for disney, whatever floats your boat. We can find something to do.... I thought you said you saw batman??!!?! oh well gimme a call and we will go.

oh man that sucks! im so bummed for you...well, still try for thursday night. if you're flying out from O'Hare, just make the case that you'd be two minutes away from the airport if you went to the show. and if you aren't able to make it, i'll take a gazillion photos and do my con report as usual so you see what went on. and feel free to let me know if there are certain things you want me to look for for you, i'd be happy to pick some things up.

i'll see what i'm doing in the next couple weeks, but yes! we do need to get together. i'm uber boring, but i can pretend i do interesting things. (seriously- my past two days have been x-men cartoons and disney movies. amazing.)

ah Batman! i still haven't seen it yet- but soon! i got a voicemail from Monnie saying he saw it too and that it was 'fucking AWESOME.' saw Mr&Mrs Smith though. not a real deep flick, but it's got super hot pretty people with guns, so it was enjoyable.
